  • Develop and execute digital and social strategy for the Univision’s corporate social responsibility efforts and multi-platform projects, including Elections and Census 2020.

  • Manage large-scale projects, budget, and partnerships with organizations like Bezos Foundation, Hewlett Foundation, ACT, Mozilla, Learning Heroes and SCAN Foundation.

    • Develop grant proposals by collecting data, writing, and delivering the proposal according to deadlines.

  • Responsible for the digital components of the ‘Vota Conmigo’, ‘La Fuerza de Creer,’ ‘Unidos por los Nuestros,’ campaigns, which have won the Cynopsis Social Good Awards (2018, 2019) and the Shorty Social Good Awards (2018).  

  • Most recently oversaw #VotaConmigo (100 pieces of original content that garnered 1.2M video views, led to over 1400 tags on Twitter and gathered 9.65 million impressions) from the content creation stage through to integrating select content with local and national media, radio, and events. As a result of the overall campaign, more than 343,257 eligible citizens registered to vote in 2018.

  • Coordinate engagement strategies aimed at reaching Latino audiences, including the creation and editing of unique, original pieces in a wide range of formats such as video, text, live streams, interactive elements, and graphics.

  • Partner with local and national editors and reporters on digital strategies, experimenting with formats and distribution channels to create the most meaningful relationship possible with the audience, as well as work closely with engineering, product, marketing, art, and legal.

  • Field produce and conduct interviews for a variety of projects.

  • Associate with universities for national and local collaborative journalism projects.

  • Help develop the strategy and execution of digital and social media content for the Univision Foundation and the Creative Thread Foundation.

  • Wrote and researched features and articles for Univision Noticias and Univision Noticias/ Salud in a range of formats including longform, short liveblog posts, interviews, analytical essays, first person narratives, and data-driven visual stories.

  • Created and edited social content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms, generating a 47% increase in followers for the Univision Salud Facebook account and a 779% increase in Twitter followers.

  • Developed and executed interactive storytelling across multiple platforms, utilizing HTML and JavaScript.

  • Produced 48 issues of Contratiempo, one of the oldest Spanish-language publications in the country, 28 pages printed monthly and distributed across the Midwest.
